TrapperGirl and Hawkeye
Meet ginger boy Hawkeye and his stunning sister TrapperGirl. They arrived into care some months ago. TrapperGirl was part of a farm colony. Safe Haven has been providing trap, neuter, and return services for this colony.
TrapperGirl was released back into the colony in late spring after her spay. A second TNR happened late summer. More traps were set at the same colony in hopes of spaying and neutering more colony cats. TrapperGirl was re-trapped.
Something about her made us realize she wasn't feral. Scared, yes, but there was hope. Hawkeye was trapped on the same day and they both came into our care. They have been in foster care ever since.
These two sweet cats have tested positive for Feline Leukaemia. Feline Leukaemia isn't a death sentence. FeLV cats can live perfectly normal lives for many years. However they *must* be indoor only and be the only two in the household OR live with other FeLV cats.
Hawkeye is a snuggle-bunny and his gorgeous sister TrapperGirl loves long gentle strokes on her head and through her luxurious mane. They are still very much kittens themselves and spend hours playing and romping around their foster room.
If you thought you might be interested in meeting for an adoption or interested in a foster-to-adopt situation please contact us!

Madhatter and Hitachi
These two sweet boys arrived at Safe Haven as feral kittens. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our volunteers, both have blossomed into social young cats. Hitachi now loves to be patted and is even starting to snuggle. Madhatter is very interested in the attention Hitachi receives, but is still nervous about the "hands-on" approach. Madhatter can usually be bribed with some lickable treats into accepting a few brief pats.
We'd love to see these two graduate from the shelter environment into a caring home. Hitachi and Madhatter need a loving, attentive home where they can continue their journey from feral kittens to well-adjusted, affectionate domestic cats.

Ascot Tux
Ascot Tux is a gentle soul who will love his people unconditionally. He is not a fan of being picked up or carried, but he will sidle in next to you or curl up on you when he wants to have a nap. Once he is settled, Ascot will gently kiss your arm until you rub his belly while he falls asleep. Your reward is his incredible, soothing purr.
If your lap is not available, Ascot will search for another warm napping spot. He’s easy to find because you can hear him snoring. Or, if you rattle the spoons, he’ll be right beside you!
Mornings are Ascot’s favourite time of day. He’s talkative and excited before breakfast. At night, Ascot loves sleeping with his people. He’ll cuddle in as close as he possibly can without disturbing you.
Ascot likes meeting new people and loves to be brushed—in anticipation of yet another belly rub. Ascot’s foster mom describes him as “gentle” and “soothing.” His laid-back nature calms the room around him. Ascot Tux has been neutered and vaccinated. He has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and needs to be an indoor-only kitty.
